Finance Officer – Part-time (25hrs Mon – Fri)
We are recruiting for a part-time Finance Officer to support the Finance & Facilities Manager with the efficient running of our financial systems and procedures, ensuring the organisations’ financial position can be reviewed at any time. To ensure the accurate status of the management accounts, including budgets, month/year-end accounts, and producing reports to commissioners, funders, management team, and the Board of Trustees.
To be successful for this role, you will be used to dealing with management information, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication. You will be organised, self-motivated, able to prioritise effectively and multi-task. You will be qualified to at least AAT Level2/3, part qualified as an accounting technician or equivalent qualification/experience. You will have a track record and working knowledge within the financial book-keeping field for at least 2 years, including using accountancy software, preferably Quickbooks Online, and IT software including MS Excel.

Treasurer Wanted – Voluntary Role
Care and Repair are looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm to become our new Treasurer, and join our Board of Trustees.
We need someone with a passion for ensuring high quality services are provided for people who wish to remain living independently and safely in their homes.
We are the Home Improvement Agency for the city. With charitable status we provide services for older people and disabled people.
Our service is commissioned by Leeds City Council and Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group, with a turnover in 2018/19 of £2.5 million.
We need someone who has experience of Financial Controls and a strategic vision.
We need someone who can contribute to our Board of Trustees’ with an ability to advise on the financial implications of Care & Repair’s strategic plans and new business opportunities, helping set our direction, overall policy, defining goals and evaluating performance.
We have a dedicated Finance Manager and so the role of Treasurer is to oversee the financial work of our organisation.
The commitment is approximately 10 half-day meetings a year plus one awayday.
