Treasurer Wanted – Voluntary Role
Care and Repair are looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm to become our new Treasurer, and join our Board of Trustees.
We need someone with a passion for ensuring high quality services are provided for people who wish to remain living independently and safely in their homes.
We are the Home Improvement Agency for the city. With charitable status we provide services for older people and disabled people.
Our service is commissioned by Leeds City Council and Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group, with a turnover in 2018/19 of £2.5 million.
We need someone who has experience of Financial Controls and a strategic vision.
We need someone who can contribute to our Board of Trustees’ with an ability to advise on the financial implications of Care & Repair’s strategic plans and new business opportunities, helping set our direction, overall policy, defining goals and evaluating performance.
We have a dedicated Finance Manager and so the role of Treasurer is to oversee the financial work of our organisation.
The commitment is approximately 10 half-day meetings a year plus one awayday.
