The Challenge
A middle-aged lady living alone with joint and muscle disorders had been given an adapted bathroom through the council. This was fitted without a bath, which she wanted in order to help her to relax her joints. She was told that in order to have a bath, she would need to pay the difference. She heard about Care & Repair and made a referral herself for bathroom adaptations including a bath.
The Solution
The contractors removed all fittings and put in a new electric shower with extended hose, carefully positioned at the right height above the new fitted shower seat, new bath, slip resistant flooring, chrome towel radiator and a vanity unit as an extra add-on.
