A mother with three children was concerned for the security of her oldest child with autism, who was often able to get out through the back gate. This was a huge concern as it would often happen and she had to be watched and monitored constantly to prevent her from getting out. They had been in touch with the council for some fencing work at their previous property.
The Solution
When the council got in touch to see if they still needed new fencing fitted, they arranged for a Technical Officer from Care & Repair to carry out a survey of the fence. From this point, everything was carried out very quickly. The contractors arranged to come and begin the work at a weekend, completing everything by the start of the next week. The family had been away that weekend and they came home to a new non-climb fence with lockable gate.
