Our Care & Repair Outreach & Engagement work is designed to help us connect with the communities we want to reach.

Although we work city wide, there are certain areas of Leeds which we aim to target with specific support to help reduce health inequalities.

We want to increase the number of our clients who live in these areas of deprivation, and also those from diverse communities, so that they can benefit from what we have to offer.

Our Falls Reduction Service is aimed at all who are at risk of falling or who have already had a fall in the home

We also provide services to improve client safety in the home, to reduce the impact of fuel poverty, poor housing and social isolation. We are supported in this by our partners Green Doctor and Age UK Leeds.

We’re connecting with the organisations who work with communities in our target areas to educate them on what our Home Plus service can provide for their clients.

The Future

It is our aim that this co-ordinated Care & Repair Outreach work will lead to robust reporting and analysis of data. These outputs will be used to demonstrate the continued need for our services to our funders, and to confirm the long terms benefits to clients in terms of enabling them to continue to live in their homes safely and independently for as long as possible.
