Besa Wilde

I trained as an accountant in Albania, where I earned my university degree in finance from the university of Tirana. After that I worked as a finance accountant with different trading companies.
I moved to the UK in 2018 where I had my first experience working for a not-for-profit organisation and decided to make that my path. Coming from another country I had to start my career from scratch and moved my way up from a finance assistant to bookkeeping supervisor and finally promoted to finance manager at my previous job in a well-known arts organisation in Leeds. I am always up for a challenge and when the opportunity to work in Care and Repair in December 2025 presented I took it and I am looking forward to understanding all the incredible work this organisation does and make an impact.
