Kirsty Ricketts

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2013 and have built my career across both Adult Social Care and the NHS, gaining broad experience in supporting people with a wide range of needs. I am currently an Occupational Therapy Team Manager for the Early Intervention Team, leading a multidisciplinary team made up of Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.

The role of the team is to support people who are new to Adult Social Care, with a strong emphasis on early intervention and prevention. I am passionate about promoting independence and enabling individuals to live safely and confidently in their own homes through the use of equipment, home adaptations, and practical, person-centred advice.
