In order to get the best out of your home, you need to be able to move around it easily and safely.
Many of our clients are referred to us by the NHS or council following a stay in hospital.
This can often be a good time to look at other aspects of your home with an eye to your future independence and safety. We can help you make the changes you need to stay in your home if you choose.
Small changes
It may be possible that some smaller aids will help you move about your home more easily.
- additional stair and grab rails, widening doors, or a bed rail to help make getting out of bed easier
Some equipment is available free of charge but we can also advise on other daily living aids to buy.
Bigger changes
Should you prefer or need a bigger change you may be entitled to a Disabled Facilities Grant, and we can advise you on this, but if not, we can still help you with the process of making the changes you want to help you stay independent at home.
Our experienced technical staff will visit free of charge to discuss your needs and the changes required. If you decide to go further, we will charge a fee full details available on request.
What our clients say…
“What a brilliant service, the stair rail is simply beautiful and has allowed my husband to be discharged from hospital as he failed his stair assessment. Thank you so much.”
