Heating on Prescription
Care and Repair and Green Doctor are working in partnership to deliver Heating on Prescription.
The Heating On Prescription (HOP) service is for patients struggling to keep themselves warm at home and who are eligible for the free NHS flu vaccine due to a health condition, age, or medical treatment.
Eligible patients will be offered help with practical solutions to reduce energy costs and tackle the causes of heat loss, damp and mould in their homes.
HOP will provide support for people with a health condition made worse by the cold in the form of personal warmth items and financial support with energy bills to help them to heat their homes to a healthy temperature over the winter months.
