Trustee with Finance Expertise Wanted – Voluntary Role
Care and Repair Leeds are looking for someone with finance experience to join our Board of Trustees. We have a qualified dedicated Finance Manager (AAT Level 4) and two part-time assistants, and so the role is to work with them and provide advice and guidance, and oversee the financial work of our organisation.
Ideally you will have a finance qualification, but, if not, then you will have experience of Financial Controls and a strategic vision.
You will contribute to our Board of eight Trustees with an ability to advise on the financial implications of Care & Repair’s strategic plans and new business opportunities; helping to set our direction, overall policy, defining goals, and evaluating performance.
We need someone with a passion for ensuring high quality services are provided for people of all ages who wish to remain living independently and safely in their own homes.
We are the Home Improvement Agency for the city. With charitable status we provide services for all older and disabled people.
Our service is commissioned by Leeds City Council and Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group, with a turnover in 2019/20 of over £3 million.
The commitment is approximately 10 x 3 hour meetings a year plus one away-day.
If you are interested and would like to find out more, please contact the CEO, Ruth Cornelissen, 0113 200 9163.
This is a voluntary role and there is Volunteer Insurance in place to cover liabilities if acted within the role of Trustee.
