Darren Jackson – Winner of Technical Officer of the Year

We were delighted when Darren Jackson, Care & Repair Leeds’ Technical Officer, part of our Building Services Team, was named Technical Officer of the Year at the at Foundations National Healthy Housing Awards 2022.

The judges were impressed with the excellent feedback and examples that demonstrated how Darren goes the extra mile.

The achievements of council teams, charities and inspirational frontline staff in supporting independent living were celebrated at the National Healthy Housing Awards, highlighting how those working to ensure homes are safe and accessible have been at the forefront of supporting vulnerable people.

Organised by Foundations, the Government-funded national body for the Disabled Facilities Grant and Home Improvement Agencies (HIAs), the awards honour pioneering organisations and individuals who support people with disabilities and long-term conditions to live safely at home.

Judges assessed entries from all over England across eleven categories.
