About Cllr David Jenkins
I live in Seacroft and have been in Leeds since 1979 and worked at the Trade Union Resource Centre [Leeds TUCRIC]. I’ve been a community worker and then manager at East Leeds CAB before I retired in 2015, which is when I volunteered to support my MP with surgeries which I have done until the pandemic. I became a Councillor in May 2018 and was re-elected in 2021 serving till 2024. As well as being appointed as member representative on the Care & Repair Board, I’m also the member representative on Leeds Older People’s Forum, Seacroft Local Care Partnership, Outer East Local Housing Advisory Panel, and Seacroft Manston Cluster. I look forward to being involved with Care & Repair and the valuable service it provides to the communities of Leeds.
