Pride in Care
We are proud to be an organisation with an ‘Open Door’ policy that supports and champions the diversity of older people. We actively encourage people from different backgrounds to seek support for social isolation in their community.
Our delivery of the Pride in Care Quality Standard means prioritising the health and wellbeing of those aged 50+ who are part of the LGBT community, feel unheard or underrepresented in any way and who feel the barriers to seeking support for their health and wellbeing. We also work closely with other health and social care organisations and are committed to challenging any poor and discriminatory practices that individuals may encounter when accessing support for health and wellbeing.
